I started working with Carlsberg in May 2006. I’m a production engineer and maintain the machines in the bottling area. It’s the best job I've had and I hope to be here for the rest of my career. I live in Northampton in the UK with my wife and four children.
I’m very interested in machines, how they work, and I like to find solutions and fix problems.
In this job I have challenges every day and that is the thing about the job I like most: it’s challenging!
I want to improve my skills
I want to develop myself as an engineer and that is definitely possible in Carlsberg.
I have been very impressed by the training and professional development opportunities. I received a very good induction and I’ve been on two other courses where I learned a lot.
People can have a laugh
The relationship to my colleagues is very good. They are friendly, helpful and take time to help each other. People want to work and get satisfaction from the results. The teams are very small so you know each other and can expect more of each other.
We’re also different – and I see diversities as strength.
