I live in the countryside close to Helsinki with my husband and two children and have been in the brewery business more or less since 1992. I’m a laboratory manager and joined the company in 1998.
My work relates to daily quality assurance in the laboratory, but scientific research also inspires me. In research the goal is to find continuous improvements to practical operations, processes and products. And that’s what I really like about my job –it relates directly to the quality of Carlsberg’s products.
Good networking opportunities
Working in a big international company means that you get good opportunities for networking and sharing your knowledge internationally. That’s very inspiring.
Professional team work
I’m a microbiologist and my colleagues are brewmasters, chemists and engineers. We're a diverse team and make use of each other's skills and knowledge. Overall, I think the good training and development opportunities at Carlsberg mean that professionalism is characteristic of a Carlsberg employee.
