I live in Warsaw with my wife and two small children. My whole professional career has been connected to Carlsberg - I joined the company shortly after I finished my studies in 1996. I wanted to learn about real business in an international company and started as an accountant. Since then I have held six or seven different positions, and now I’m a director.
I have been lucky to meet people that trusted me and gave me the opportunity to advance and gain more and more responsibility. My goal is to work for Carlsberg at the highest level as a key person.
New challenges every day
What’s really attractive about my job is that I’m always doing something that is connected directly to the strategy and direction of the company. Our market is changing very fast so I face new challenges every day and there are always decisions that need to be taken.
I travel frequently
Working for a big international corporation means travelling a lot and getting the opportunity to work in other countries. I meet people from many different cultures and that’s very inspiring - both from an organisational and a social perspective. Also our in-company training is very good. We have several programmes on many different levels and most of our training is closely connected to career planning.
