I’m from Germany and live in Hamburg with my girlfriend. I started working at Carlsberg in the summer of 2006. It’s the first international brand I have worked with, and it’s very challenging and a lot of fun. I like talking with different people from different countries and cultures and developing things like ads and promotional activities.
Basically it’s a classic management job as I connect the requirements of sales with brand needs. We’re often working with regional brands so there is less money, but you need to be as good as the big ones.
One of the coolest beer brands
When people ask me what I do, I tell them that I’m working for one of the coolest beer brands in the world. It’s a very open-minded and international environment with lots of different and dynamic people around who have fun together. To me that’s the Carlsberg feeling.
I have a lot of freedom
I have a lot of freedom in my job and it has a much more international perspective than my last job. Also the career opportunities are very good. Carlsberg counts on me as an employee and that gives me a good feeling.
