The Group Operations team in Group Supply Chain is responsible for optimising the Production network in the group through cross border sourcing, product simplification and improved planning methods.
The organisation consists of around 10 highly skilled employees and is located in Carlsberg's headquarters in Copenhagen.
The strategic purpose of the position
Secure an improved utilization of the production network and provide a service that enables export and intercompany products, new product roll outs and initatives to be sourced from the optimal sites in the smoothest possible way.
Responsibilities
Responsible for ensuring optimal sourcing strategies for Export products, Group SKUs and for all other intercompany initiatives in close cooperation with the main stakeholders.
Improve the intercompany process and rules ensuring the necessary framework for the IC sourcing in group, with special focus on Eastern Europe.
Participate in the Business Standardisation Project.
Act as "Key Account Manager" towards ExLiD on all sourcing matters and cooperate on optimising the sourcing for their portfolio.
Service GSM/Group Innovation with sourcing plans for roll outs of Group SKUs.
Provide transparency for local IC coordinators to ease the IC sourcing.
Provide operational help in sourcing crises.
Lead the highly skilled IC team in Group Operations
Take on ad hoc projects that falls under the responsibility of the team.
The position in brief
The position is a tactical and at times operational role.The main task is to act as a service provider enabling the countries and Exlid to have smooth and efficient interactions on sourcing.
Other important tasks are
To create the basis for sourcing plans for larger product launches.
To develop the systems and tools supporting the sourcing to make things easier and more transparent.
Identifying cross-border / international opportunities were synergies can be created.
Reports to Group Operations Director, GSC and has 1 direct report + 1 student worker.
Personal qualifications
Sourcing experience.
Service minded and ready to take responsibility.
Excellent analytical and financial skills.
Good communication skills and ability to work with many stakeholders across the company.
Broad understanding of the value chain.
Ability to work on a tactical level as well as in the details.
High work capacity.
Team-orientation.
Diplomatic skills when dealing with operating companies and other departments.
Accepting travelling as "part of the job".
Professional qualifications/work experience
Master Sc or Business School education (Master level or equivalent).
Preferably experience with sourcing, shipping and product costing.
5-10 years in an operating company / environment.
Fluency in English (preferably 1-2 other languages).
