Your new SAP environment
Your new job has primary focus on Warehouse management in a wide perspective across all of the functionality within the area of SAP R/3 and external applications. Looking forward you will gain the possibility of working with the newest SAP technology. You see a huge benefit supporting the business in doing the daily work. The Maintenance team is characterized by highly specialized people with their heart in IT and you will therefore be part of an environment with inspiring and dynamic colleagues. You will report to the responsible Senior Application Manager in Application maintenance.
The Application Maintenance Team plays an important role in the stabilisation and optimisation of the application elements in the running SAP solution. The job will be focused on warehouse management but also a third party application currently used for truck drivers called Hand held terminals (HHT). It will be solving incidents/tickets arising on a daily basis in line with the agreed business model. As Carlsberg has 24x7 production running, you will also participate in a 24*7 on duty arrangement together with rest of the Application Maintenance Team

Who are you?
You probably have practical experience supporting business in solving day-to-day issues. Preferably experience working with a broader perspective within Warehouse management in SAP and/or within the logistics execution part. You perceive analytical skills and ability to identify root causes and suggest improvement initiatives within business processes and applications. You have a conceptual understanding of interfaces from external applications into the SAP R/3 platform. ITIL knowledge will be considered as a plus but not a requirement. As a person you have: 

  • A positive attitude, result orientation and ability to see projects to an end
  • A strong collaboration and team orientation
  • Written and oral communication skills (English)

You will be responsible of Application maintenance and support to the daily business in SAP Warehouse management, SAP lean warehouse management and Hand held terminals. You will build the bridge between the IT organisation and the business by gaining a deep knowledge of the business and the business processes. You will bridge the run (application maintenance) and the build (development teams) of CIT making sure that closing projects are being taken into the application maintenance team and that knowledge around new solutions are intercepted. You will reach the service levels on resolution time for incidents, i.e. based on close monitoring and follow up on incident handling.
