Corporate Social Responsibility

We believe that there is more to running a brewery than just brewing beer. We are committed to operating our businesses in a manner that is ethically and environmentally sound, and to supporting the responsible use of our products.

Since the very beginning, Carlsberg has always behaved responsibly towards society, our employees and the environment.

Today, the ethical guidelines that our founders instinctively followed have taken shape as a series of policies under the heading Corporate Social Responsibility.

They include a Supplier and Licensee Code of Conduct, and dedicated programmes within areas of particular relevance to the beverage business, such as our Beer Awareness Programme and our Environmental Policy.
