Since 1999, the Tuborg Foundation Business Economics Prize has been awarded every year to seven PhD students who have achieved significant expertise in the field of business economics. Each student receives a grant of DK150,000 to fund their studies at the best international universities.
Study tours
The Foundation also funds study tours abroad for young people who wish to qualify within the trade sector. Every year since 1950, scholarships have been awarded to four groups, covering farmers, shop assistants, specialist workers and technicians. In 2006, it granted DKK 615,000 to 60 young students to fund educational visits to Lithuania, Scotland and Germany.
