Greece is traditionally considered to be a wine drinking country, but in recent years beer has become more popular among younger people. Imports account for 9% of all sales and licensed production represents 79% of all consumption, with lager-style beers dominating the market.  

Mythos Brewery became part of the Carlsberg Group in 2008. It is the second largest brewer in Greece and markets Mythos - one of the leading national beer brands.

Since 2001 the Carlsberg brand has been marketed in the premium segment, produced by Photos Photiades Breweries, our partner in Cyprus, and distributed by PT Beverage World Ltd through regional wholesalers.
