Carlsberg Hungary was established in 2004, distributing and marketing first Carlsberg and then Holsten.

However, Tuborg had been available locally since 1981 as the first international beer produced under licence.

In 2006, Carlsberg Hungary took over the distribution of Tuborg from Dreher brewery and launched the energy drink Battery - produced by Sinebrychoff in Finland. It further strengthened its premium beer portfolio in 2007 with a distribution agreement for Bud (Anheuser Busch) in Hungary.

Today Carlsberg Hungary is a true provider of international premium beer brands, sourcing its portfolio from eight different countries.
