In 2006, Carlsberg Hungary took over the distribution of Tuborg from Dreher brewery and launched the energy drink Battery - produced by Sinebrychoff in Finland. It further strengthened its premium beer portfolio in 2008 with Kronenborg French brand and in 2010 with a distribution agreement for Budweiser Budvar (Budějovicky Budvar) in Hungary.
Today Carlsberg Hungary is a true provider of international premium beer brands, sourcing its portfolio from six different countries.
