Top professional skiers and snowboarders joined recreational skiers, fans and the media to celebrate the end of the 2009 season at the 10th Verbier High Five by Carlsberg competition.
The event, which took place in the famous Swiss resort in April, combines competitive and light-hearted racing with great partying. It is open to anyone over 18, offering amateurs the chance to compete against professionals in five alpine skiing and snowboarding races.

They joined many other great skiers and snow boarders competing in the event, including Didier Cuche, Mattias Hargin, William Besse, Sandro Viletta, André Myhrer, Julia Mancuso, Fränzi Aufdenblatten, Chemmy Alcott, Sylviane Berthod, Tina Maze, Marie Marchand-Arvier, Alex Coudray, Jonas Emery, Mike Aeschbach and Xavier Jordan.
Great moments with great athletes
"This 10th event demonstrates our success, together with Verbier, to create an exceptional and passionate event where friends of skiing can come together in the legendary Carlsberg after-ski environment,” says Keld Strudahl, Carlsberg’s International Sponsorship Director. “It truly is a unique opportunity to share great moments with great athletes and celebrate the end of a fantastic skiing season.”
