At dinner parties, quality manager Merethe Guldborg serves her guests beer with their dessert – and after the initial surprise, they always really enjoy it.
Merethe has been with the company for 18 years, looking after food safety and legislation.
She can recommend a beer to go with anything, but Carl’s Porter with Chocolate Mousse is one of her favourites.

“The roasted, bitter taste of the beer matches that of the chocolate and its strong alcohol content (7.8% ABV) stands up well to the rich, creamy mousse.
Everyone finds it a wonderful contrast to all the sweet tasting food that you usually get at Christmas,” she says.
