Lure Players at City Hall Square

The bronze statues of the lure players were donated by the Carlsberg Foundation and New Carlsberg Foundation in1911 to commemorate JC Jacobsen’s 100^th birthday. They stand on a high column in City Hall Square and, according to folklore, blow their horns if a virgin walks by.
