Sarek is a light and easy-to-drink, strong beer, designed to appeal to a wide audience.  It’s brewed with a light lager taste, medium bitterness and alcohol content of 5.2% ABV.  The taste is fresh and flowery, with just a hint of acidity, and the aroma combines bread, dried fruits and pineapple with aromatic hops.

Sarek is named after and inspired by the calm and freshness of the Sarek National Park.  Its label features a stylised image of the Park’s mountain peak and lakes, reflecting the calm and free character of the beer.

Light lager is absolutely the most popular beer type sold through the Swedish Alcohol Retail Monopoly, but Carlsberg’s master brewers are confident that Sarek will put up a strong challenge.  It’s sold in 50 cl cans in the Systembolaget’s basic range, throughout all outlets in Sweden.
