Aldaris ranks among the top three most sustainable companies in 2011
Aldaris was among the top three companies chosen as the best Latvian employer in 2011, together with SEB Bank and Statoil. More than 100 companies participated and were evaluated according to five criteria, namely:

• Strategy
• Market relations
• Work environment
• Environment
• Society

Aldaris takes gold
Based on submitted information which included data analysis, experts ranked qualified companies in bronze, silver, gold and platinum categories respectively, depending on their Sustainability Index. While Aldaris did not attain the platinum level, they managed – together with Latvija Statoil and SEB Bank -  to reach the gold level.

According to the Sustainability Index criteria, Gold status means that a company is open and transparent and that it complies with the most essential aspects of being a sustainable company. The corporate responsibility strategy within the company also defines clear and measurable goals.

"Aldaris' customer and consumer-minded approach, the company's transparency in communication and an engaging approach towards employees have been noticed and ranked. This award has helped us to strengthen Aldaris’ employer image and allow representatives of the company to participate in different public and CSR activities with sharing the best practices," says Thomas Panteli, CEO of Aldaris, Latvia.

In the beginning of 2012 Aldaris was invited to become part of the jury for the Sustainability Index Latvia 2012.
