Carlsberg Hong Kong, along with other leading beverage producers such as Heineken, Jebsen, Moet Hennessy and San Miguel made the decision to be part of the forum in order to educate consumers about the dangers of excess consumption of alcohol and drink driving.
As part of the Forum's activities, stickers will be distributed to bars and restaurants reminding customers not to drink & drive, especially during the festive Lunar New Year.
The Liberal Party, the Road Safety Council, the police Road Safety Unit and the Accident Insurance Association of the Federation of Insurers have pledged full support to the initiative. Forum chairwoman Jenny To called on drinkers to act responsibly, “We are committed to promoting responsible drinking in our community and combating the problem of drink-driving in order to create a safer road environment in Hong Kong.
