Since 2007, Carlsberg UK has raised €32,500 for Help the Hospices, our charity partner in the UK. It was chosen by our employees from a shortlist of organizations published in our company newspaper.
The objective of the partnership is to raise €110,000 over a period of two years with the aim of making a difference to our local community. It was also seen as an opportunity for our employees to engage in a fundraising program they felt strongly about.
Charity champions at our sites have been responsible for raising the money, investing their time and raising awareness among colleagues of the need for donations.
Carlsberg UK intends to continue with supporting Help the Hospices for the foreseeable future. Investing time and funds for local charities in the places where we work is an important aspect of our community engagement program.
