At the beginning of 2009, Carlsberg Serbia was awarded the “Royal Purveyors” title on behalf of the White Palace of his Royal Highness, Crown Prince Alexander II Karadjordjevic.

The award marks our cooperation with the Royal family not only as a regulated and trusted supplier of our products to their household but also as a valued partner in charity and humanitarian work. It is the second year in a row that Carlsberg has been granted the seal of approval.

The tradition dates back to the beginning of the 20th Century and exists in all European constitutional monarchies. It was introduced in the Kingdom of Yugoslavia during the reign of Alexander I Karadjorjevic and its importance is reflected in the continuing collaboration on valued humanitarian work between the royal family and leading local companies.

Community engagement and collaboration in charity work form an important part of Carlsberg’s heritage and are part of our commtiment to engage with society.
