Cooperation with B.E.N.A Association

In August 2006, Carlsberg Srbija started a scholarship program for students carrying out research programs on protecting the environment in Serbia. Over 50 projects were reviewed and the winners were honoured at a gala event.

The project was a collaboration between the Serbian Ministry for Environment Protection, the Danish Embassy in Serbia, Carlsberg and the Minicipality of Rakovica in Belgrade.

Its success has led to the program being continued into 2009 and 2010, with a new program of scholarships being introduced for future research. With the aim of encouraging students, scientist and other groups involved in protecting the environment, the initiative is based on cooperation and the exchange of knowledge.

Carlberg is actively involved in participating in projects that raise awareness of environmental issues as part of our community engagement strategy across the globe.
