Over the last 15 years, Carlsberg Malaysia has been supporting education throughout the country via various activities. The latest of those include the ' I love Chinese education charity concert' - which were held in East Malaysia. These concerts, fully sponsored by Carlsberg, had the purpose to raise money for educational institutions in Sebah and Sarawak.
Famous artists such as Amy Wang, Christopher Lay, Vicky Tan and Gary Yap performed during these concerts. During the concerts, a special a contest was held to raise additional money for the institutions. The winner of the tour performed a duet with top-selling artist Christopher Lay.
In addition to the concerts, Carlsberg Malaysia also promoted visits by some of the top artists to various educational institutions where they performed as judges for singing contests. The campaign aimes to raise a total of RM 11.3 million (2.5 million Euro) to support education through Malaysia
