Launched in April 2006 by Sinebrychoff, part of the Carlsberg Group in Finland, Kuntovire is a project aimed at improving the health and well-being of our workers.
Kuntovire is a voluntary, ongoing project that encourages our employees to take part in sporting activities and improve their general levels of fitness. Its aim is to improve the quality of life for those who take part by challenging them towards a healthier and more active way of living.
All the staff at Sinebrychoff are invited to join and make use of our KOFF club. Kuntovire is designed to encourage those who are more passive to these events to take part and benefit from the advantages of greater fitness.
INVESTING IN HEALTH
Launched internally, the campaign got underway with a personal letter to all our staff members. It then appeared on the intranet, in internal magazines and on in house TV screens. In staff canteens, healthier menus were made available. The cost of the Kuntovire campaign amounts to about 17,000 Euros and it’s proving to be a healthy investment. To date, the program has been a considerable success. New participants now take part in the many activities offered by Kuntovire, and we can even see that some of us have lost a little weight.
Carlsberg Group values health and safety programs and the well-being of our employees everywhere we work. Staying healthy makes good sense.
