Slavuitch Ukraine takes its sales academy for sales staff seriously. That's why the training program now includes a special section that trains staff on all matters of Business Ethics, including appropriate communication with clients, team management, conflicts of interest and fair competition.
Slavuitch currently has 10 sales trainers who are employed on a full time basis to train and educate their 1200 strong sales force. All sales staff, both new and longer term employees, receive regular training to ensure they have the adequate level of sales tools and skills to assist them in doing their job. Coaching of sales staff is also an important part of the process.
Recently, Slavuitch made the decision to incorporate training on Business Ethics as part of the sales academy program. All sales staff are trained on aspects of Business Ethics, including the management of sales teams especially in regards to conflicts of interest, educating customers as to the nutritional compositions of Slavuitch's products and fair competition.
The training, which takes place in various locations across the country, runs over a period of 2 – 3 days, and is held on weekends, with staff voluntarily giving up their weekend in order to increase their knowledge and understanding of Business Ethics.
It is important to Slavutich to instil the values of integrity, fairness, care and respect for others into its employees. Therefore, it is vital that sales staff, who have significant face to face contact with external parties and are often exposed to dilemmas of a business ethics nature, receive extensive training on the Business Ethics policy. By doing so, not only the company, but its consumers benefit.
The training on Business Ethics in Slavuitch mirrors the Carlsberg Group's ambition to be a responsible and ethical employer. We aim to educate our employees so that they are ready to deal with the business ethics challenges that they may be confronted with in their daily operations. Training staff on the policy in Slavuitch is one of the necessary actions the Group must undertake if we are to achieve this aim.
