We are strongly committed to high standards that create a fair, respectable and safe workplace where people have the opportunity to develop themselves. We support the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the International Labour Organisation’s Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work.
Opportunities for development
The development of our employees is a core element of our strategic approach. We aim to create a fair and just environment where people at all levels can continuously develop their skills and accelerate their careers. Programmes such as the Leader Development Programme and international talent programme provide employees with opportunities to enhance their professional development.
Same standards for all
The Carlsberg Group is made up of people. We are committed to creating a working environment which encourages transparency, respect and fairness; a commitment reflected in many and various group and local activities. In 2009 we began to implement a new Labour and Human Rights Policy which sets out the standards that all employees in the Carlsberg Group must enjoy, irrespective of the country in which they work.
Involving employees
We conduct a bi-annual employee attitude survey to find out what our employees think about Carlsberg and to identify areas for improvement. We have also started to collect group-wide information on Labour and Human Rights.
