The Malaysian stock exchange authorities have approved that Carlsberg Asia Holdings Pte. Ltd. is not obliged to make a public offer to the other shareholders of Carlsberg Brewery Malaysia Berhad.
Carlsberg Asia is now established and therefore Carlsberg will consolidate Carlsberg Asia pro rata (50 per cent) as of 1 January 2002.
