Søren Lisbjerg, currently vice-president for Supply Chain in Carlsberg Breweries, has been appointed Supply Chain Director for Carlsberg Danmark from December 1 this year. He will also join the board of management of Carlsberg Danmark. Søren Lisbjerg is a chemical engineer and brew master and has worked for Carlsberg since 1991 in roles at Tuborg-Fredericia Brewery, as head of quality for Carlsberg Danmark and as technical director for Coca-Cola Nordic Beverages. He later became technical director for Carlsberg Breweries' Northern and Western European division.
Current supply chain director Jette W. Knudsen leaving Carlsberg Danmark. The background to her leaving the company is that over the summer there have been some production problems, especially in connection with the launching of cans in Denmark. As there shouldn't be the slightest doubt about the quality of Carlsberg and Tuborg products, Jette W. Knudsen has decided to take the consequences and leave Carlsberg Denmark on December 1.
Kasper Madsen, the current production director for Carlsberg-Tetley in the UK, will take-over Søren Lisbjergs job as vice-president for Supply Chain in Carlsberg Breweries. Kasper Madsen has previously worked as technical manager for Carlsberg Malaysia and head brewer at Carlsberg Thailand together with several brewing jobs in Denmark.
Gert Brandt Petersen, currently technical director for Unicer in Portugal, will move to the UK as production director and member of the Carlsberg-Tetley executive committee. Gert Brandt Petersen is a brew master and has worked as technical director for Carlsberg Italia, brew master in Denmark and has worked in Portugal since 1997.
Carlsberg Danmark's production director Carsten I. Ibsen has been appointed technical director and board member for Unicer in Portugal. Carsten I. Ibsen has worked for Carlsberg for 12 years and has a broad technical experience from both Denmark and Vietnam. He is also a brew master.
Finally, Torben Larsen has been appointed director with responsibility for Finance and IT for Carlsberg Danmark. He is currently finance director for Carlsberg Sweden and was previously finance director for Coca-Cola Bottlers in Denmark.
