Ramlösa Water Fund is a long-term development project in cooperation with the Red Cross.
"We can change someone else's future with clean water, which makes us want to work even harder. Ramlösa Water Fund is a way for us to participate and contribute to a more sustainable society, which feels very inspiring, "said Henric Byström, Public Relations Manager at Carlsberg Sweden.
Two Red Cross projects directly supported by Ramlösa Water Management are "Water for Namibia" and "Water for Ethiopia". Projects are underway for a four-and five-year period where the goal is to improve access to clean water and improve sanitation, and to inform and educate people in how to prevent the spread of disease through the safe storage of water and improved personal hygiene.
"Over one billion people live without access to clean water. The consequences are serious - sometimes deadly. Ramlösa Water Fund will be an important contribution to the Red Cross in exposed parts of the world to ensure that people have clean water to give to their children, to cook their food and to wash with, " said Andrew Smith, communications director at the Red Cross .

Apart from contributing by buying mineral water, you can also support the Water Fund in an easy and fun way using a mobile application. The application is called "mineral water Pole2Pole", since it follows the Water Fund's ambassador, the Swedish explorer Johan Ernst Nilson, on his climate-neutral travel from the North Pole to the South Pole via a bicycle, skiing, sailing and kite.
"Ramlösa will donate one liter of clean water for every mile that an individual collects, by running, biking, canoeing or walking. We make it easy for all Swedes to provide clean water to Africa, "said Henric Byström.
