Sales Director of Sinebrychoff, Pekka Tiainen, 38, has been appointed new CEO of the Finnish brewery which is a fully owned subsidiary of the Carlsberg Group.
The position became available when the former CEO Mikael Aro was appointed Nordic Senior Vice President for the Carlsberg Group last October.
Pekka Tiainen has an eMBA degree from the Helsinki School of Economics. He started as Sales Director for Sinebrychoff in 2001. Previously he had worked for Coca-Cola in Finland as a Sales Manager. Tiainen has a strong background working with consumer goods.
In the 188-year-old history of Sinebrychoff, Pekka Tiainen is the 13th CEO.
