Sinebrychoff will take on sales, marketing and distribution of Schweppes' range of products in Finland from January 2005.
The transfer of Schweppes range of products in Finland to Sinebrychoff is part of wider cooperation between the Carlsberg Group and Cadbury Schweppes plc. Cadbury Schweppes' products are included in Carlsberg's product range in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Switzerland.
"The synergies we will create by forming a co-operation with Carlsberg and Schweppes in the Nordic markets will allow the opportunity for us to invest behind our brands. We feel that Schweppes products will complement the Sinebrychoff range in Finland, and provide the platform to grow our volume in the Finnish market," says Managing Director Kevin Pratt of Schweppes International Limited.
