Danish barley and Tasmanian hops are the ingredients in a new and different beer, Carlsberg Crown sold on the Danish market from March 29.
The beer celebrates the marriage between the Danish Crown Prince Frederik and Tasmanian Mary Donaldson in Denmark on May 14.
Carlsberg Crown is an elegant and light special brew. The beer is light, refreshing and sparkling with an alcohol percentage by volume of 6.5%. Carlsberg Crown is brewed with Danish pilsner malt, from barley grown by Prince Frederik's brother, Prince Joachim, and hops from Tasmania.
