Football supporters at Euro 2004 are drinking more beer than expected and Swiss subsidiary Feldschlösschen is delivering another 70,000 litres of Carlsberg Non-Alcoholic beer to Portugal. Altogether 280 000 litres have been produced in Rheinfelden and delivered to Unicer in Portugal.
European football's governing body UEFA prohibits stadium sales of alcoholic beer at international matches. This is why the Swiss-produced Carlsberg Non-Alcoholic is on sale inside the Euro host stadia in Portugal this summer.
Carlsberg Non-Alcoholic was developed by Feldschlösschen Beverages Ltd. because Carlsberg's global centre of expertise for non-alcoholic beers is located at its Rheinfelden headquarters.
