Vena brewery has completed its $20 million project to upgrade its production capacity, the company's Technical Director Yury Bykoriz said on Wednesday.

Bykoriz said that the project, which was launched in June 2002 has meant an increase in the plant's annual production capacity to 3m hectolitres from 2m hectolitres. He added that over the last ten years the company had invested a total of $160m in upgrading production.

Vena is owned by BBH and Carlsberg, each with 49.9% each.
