Vietnam's deputy Prime Minister Vu Khoan and a delegation of businessmen took part in a trip around the Carlsberg brewery at the end of their two-day goodwill visit to Scandinavia. Denmark was the last stop on the tour.
Deputy Prime Minister Vu Khoan met the company's Senior Vice President for Asia, Jesper B Madsen. He showed them around the historic site, founded in 1847, and raised a glass of Carlsberg to the future co-operation with the Vietnamese government.
Carlsberg has been present in Vietnam since 1993 through investments in the Hue Brewery and the South-East Asia Brewery. It increased its shareholding in the two companies last year.
