Carlsberg Deutschland has sold Landskron Brauerei in Görlitz to further optimize the production structure in Germany. Another reason is that the local brand Landskron no longer matches with Carlsberg Deutschland's brand strategy.

Purchaser is Dr. Lobeck Stiftung  who also owns a brewery in Schwelm. The price of Landskron Brauerei will not be disclosed.

Landskron Brauerei has 75 employees and a capacity of 0,2m hl per year.

After the sale of Landskron Brauerei – effective as of 1 July – Carlsberg Deutschland runs four plants: In Hamburg, in Lübz, in Dresden and in Braunschweig.

Carlsberg Deutschland employs 1360 people and has a total capacity of 7,9m hl per year.
