Carlsberg giant impressed half a million

Towering a staggering 20 meters above the festival grounds a Carlsberg figure made a huge foot print at the newly held Polish music festival “Woodstock”. Half a million people attended the festival that had Carlsberg as a main sponsor for the third consecutive time. As part of the Carlsberg brand activation Carlsberg Poland initiated construction of a 20 meter high figure made of Carlsberg beer crates. It took professional climbers three working days to complete the figure. The giant Carlsberg figure was part of a general campaign designed by Carlsberg Poland to promote the Carlsberg brand and several of the corporate social responsibility initiatives carried out in Poland by Carlsberg. Elements of the campaign included “give trash a chance”, a campaign with focus on collecting trash on the festival grounds. Helped by 60 Carlsberg volunteers festival guests managed to collect more than 5 tons of empty beer cans and cups for recycling. Want to see how the giant was made -check this video
