Karhu III is a full-bodied and hearty lager. The beer offers a stronger hops and malt flavour compared to other regular lagers. The first Karhu beers were enjoyed in Pori in the 1920’s. Karhu was brewed in the Pori region up until the beginning of 1930’s but then it began a long hibernation period. Karhu has been continuously brewed since 1958, first in class I.
Karhu III was launched in 1961. In 199,1 it was brought into nationwide distribution. Today, Karhu is brewed at the Sinebrychoff brewery in Kerava.
