In 1889, the E.C. Dahls Brewery was bought up by Olaus Krabbe Lysholm. In 1959, his grandson, Jørgen B. Lysholm, was appointed CEO of the brewery. It was on his initiative that Lysholmer Double Ice was introduced in 1983. In the beginning, it was brewed only as a summer lager. Today, the brew is however available all year around.
Lysholmer Double Ice has a golden colour and a mild hoppy and malty aroma with floral and hoppy notes. This lager is light-bodied with a balanced hops and malt taste.
