Lvivske is one of the official partners at the Eurovision Song Contest 2017. The contest will take place in May 2017, in Kyiv.
Eurovision will be one of this year’s cultural highlight in Ukraine. Lvivske, an authentic Ukrainian brand, already supports authentic Ukrainian music and contemporary music events. Eurovision 2017 is another opportunity for Lvivske to take part in the country’s outstanding cultural event.
This year, the annual Eurovision contest will take place in Ukraine’s capital, hosted at the International Exhibition Center, on May 9–13. The 62nd Eurovision Song Contest 2017 will see participants from 43 countries. Ukraine earned its turn to host the contest thanks to the Ukrainian singer Jamala who, in May 2016, won the song contest with the song “1944”. It’s the second time Ukraine hosts the contest. The first time it happened was back in 2005.
The international music contest Eurovision has been held since 1956. Its participants come from countries that are members of the European Broadcasting Union.
Under its partnership with the song contest, Lvivske will offer its fans various marketing activities sponsored by the brand. Starting from the end of March, a limited edition of Lvivske 1715 will be available with the bottle featuring a special Eurovision 2017 design.
Taras Matsypura, marketing manager, Carlsberg Ukraine: “Eurovision in Ukraine is a highly important event for every Ukrainian. It will not only bring international focus on the young European country, but will also pull people together. Therefore, our sponsorship of the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 is a brand new step for us not only towards the cultural development of Ukraine, but also towards the European community. We are happy that this year the contest will take place at the very heart of Europe, while Lvivske, being an authentic Ukrainian brand, will have a chance to join in on such a high-scale event. We are confident that the Ukrainians will have an opportunity to show both their singing talent and their hospitality.”
