We love a wheat beer and know that it can be quite different. This time – it is our interpretation of a Belgain ale. We use a conventional wheat and barley malt ratio (60:40), which gives the beer a solid foam and a bright colour, just like a sun bathed sand dune. We give thanks to the Doemens wheat beer yeast for the wonderful aroma, but of course this is a Belgian ale therefore four ingredients are not enough. This is why at the end of the brewing process we add coriander seeds, sweet orange peel and a bit of an unconventional move – crushed cardamom. Remember to enjoy the wonderfully sweet aroma before taking a sip.
