In order to improve the quality of cooperation with suppliers and to develop one of the world’s most competitive supply chains, current Procurement System used by Carlsberg is being replaced with the Ariba Procure to Pay (P2P) solution, which helps to simplify, automate and digitize purchase-to-pay process.

Our move to SAP Ariba will allow us and our suppliers to make the process of electronic transactions accurate, transparent, and efficient, while enabling Carlsberg’s employees to order from supplier-provided web catalogues.

We have been inviting suppliers to join Ariba Network since December 2019. Ariba features two types of accounts (i.e. Standard and Enterprise) and the respective choice is dependent on amount of transactions and range of available functionalities.
Suppliers who have been invited by Carlsberg and subsequently agreed to use an Enterprise Account to cooperate with us will be guided through the onboarding process by SAP Ariba and a dedicated team within our organization.
Suppliers using the free of charge Standard Account will receive an email with a request to register to Ariba Network approximately a month prior to the expected Go Live date. In addition, the Purchase Orders generated in Carlsberg KIOSK and sent to our suppliers will also include a link allowing for quick and easy registration.
