Punita Lal has over 30 years of experience in the consumer-packaged goods industry within the areas of strategy, marketing and leadership. Her professional career includes Executive Director Marketing for Pepsico in India and various management positions at Coca Cola in China. Prior to that, she worked for J. Walter Thompson in India. Her last held executive role was MD & CEO for NourishCo, a strategic joint venture between Tata Global Beverages and PepsiCo. Apart from being an independent board member, she now does her own advisory work with start ups and she is also an executive coach.

Punita’s broad work experience spans multiple disciplines, geographies and cultures, particularly in Asia. She has strong commercial acumen backed by insights, with deep expertise in the areas of branding, consumer behaviour, product development and portfolio management in the beverage space.
